Every President chooses a Vice President as part of the presidential campaign. We remember who our past Presidents were, but we often don't remember the Vice President.
When Mrs. Dennison was in college she was selected to serve as hostess at the inaugural ball for the Governor of Maryland. He wanted to show his support for teachers, and an education major from each of the counties in the state was chosen to attend the ball. She got to introduce people to the Chairman of the Campaign Committee who then introduced them to the new Governor of the State. That Governor later became Vice-President of the United States.
Your trivia question is - Who was this Maryland Governor who later became Vice President of the United States? One more hint - While serving as Vice President he resigned from office. Tell Mrs. Dennison when you know the answer.
