Mrs. Dennison's class sent letters to Mrs. Lenora Moeller, husband of the late Walter Moeller a former congressman from the state of Ohio.  Mrs. Moeller lives in Pleasanton, California.  The pictures are from Mrs. Moeller's personal collection of her and/or her husband.  Below is her letter back to our class.

Dear Mrs. Dennison's Class-

Thank you for the beautiful letters.  I'm sorry for my delayed response to them.  What joy to hear about pets and sports.  I was very impressed with your handwriting and paragraphs.  You have certainly worked hard to make such beautiful printing.

My family has a dog named Princess.  I also love music, and play the piano, organ and violin.  I have an idea for the class.  Bob Heft is the mayor of Napolen, Ohio.  You should write to him in hopes that he might send you some reading about our United States flag.

We have met all of the astronauts of John Glen's time.  Washington is a very interesting place with all the monuments, and I hope you all get to visit it someday.  My husband and I have been invited to the White House under President's Kennedy, Johnson, Ford, Nixon, and Carter.

What joy it also was to be a teacher.  I was a music, art and math teacher for elementary students. 

I have lived in Ohio, Indiana, Maryland, Washington D.C., and California.  My birthday was on Mother's Day last year.

Just think next year you will be in the 3rd grade!  Do have fun.
