 | I am thankful for my family. There are four people in our house and two pets. They are Hannah, my Mom, my Dad, and me. Our pets are Small, my fish and our dog, Champ.
I am also thankful that it was cold yesterday and today. That's because it finally felt like Christmas. I hope it snows. By Hayley |
| One day at the North Pole it was colder than usual. It was way below zero! So Santa made a fire in the fireplace. While they were sitting by the fire the reindeer were playing in the snow. Prancer was the youngest. So the other reindeer were very gentle with her. One little snowball that Vixen threw had a family of poisonous ants living it. The whole family of ants attacked Prancer. Prancer let out a yelp of pain. Santa and Mrs. Claus went running out. Right away they saw the ant bites. "Get some cream and take her to the barn. I'll call the ambulance," called Santa. When the ambulance came, they took Prancer to the vet.
Now let's talk about the elves. For one thing the elves are very good at making toys. They can make toy trains and toy boats. Those are for the boys. This is what they make for the girls: baby dolls and big bows. The elves are also playful. At the end of the day Mrs. Claus surprises Santa and the elves by giving them cookies. Here are some of the kinds: sugar cookies, oatmeal, and peanut chocolate chip. On Christmas Eve, December 24, Santa Claus went to a house in New Orleans where three kids lived. Their names were Susie, Bobbie, and the littlest was Muffy. They had left hot chocolate and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies for him. They also left carrots for the reindeer. Susie, Bobbie, and Muffy thought it was mean that nobody gave presents to Santa when each year he gave presents to people. So that year they decided to give him one. They finally thought Santa would like a picture of them. That night which was Christmas Eve they stayed up until Santa Claus came. Then they gave Santa their present. Santa was so surprised and happy that he gave them all an extra licorice stick that night. By Hayley |  |
